Behold!

This is a lifeless world -
for long ago, it ceased breathing.

For long ago, it relinquished life,
in exchange for mere existance.

Aloof from course, the old gods cross the path of mortals.


And those race and compete for their share of yesteryear,

howbeit knowing, their past is lorn.

And they race and compete for time,

howbeit knowing, time itself is drawing to a close.

Year in and year out passes those,

whose life became wait for death to come.

There comes a time, when the offspring set forth to slay their Maker.

And the world lies aflame.

Storms are crossing the land, one hadn't seen before.

The sun doesn't warm us, it sears.

The rain doesn't recreat us, it drowns.

The land trembles and shatters.

Behold!

You, Queen of Roses, splendid adornment of summer, now there you are.

Lost in a world, defying all dreams.

In a land the gods themselves abandoned...
