Once upon not-so-long ago, in a deep deep sea, mermaid Anni saved three fishermen from drowning. Neptune, impressed by her heroic action, granted her a wish. All Anni wanted was having legs for a week, so she could explore the world of humans. Neptune agreed, but warned Anni not to dance, as the skin on her human legs wouldn’t be strong enough to resist the immense power of a mermaid’s tail.
And so Anni went ashore, and explored the wonderous world of humans. Halfway down the week, Anni walked past an open door and peeked inside. Inside the house a female jester, playing a flute. The jester’s play was so melodically that Anni couldn’t help her feet; faster and faster they moved in a frantic dance. As she danced, her human skin started to come off. Anni had no choice than to rush back to her sea, before she would get caught and be set on display. Thank goodness she made it in time.
