I love and adore not only modern fashion but also historical styles of all kinds and in my work I try to bring them back to life - not as a costume but as clothing that can be worn in a modern context. Sometimes right the way they are, sometimes more or less modernized to fit and comfort the body of the 21st century. So my designs are always a distillate of various styles through the ages and all around the world. My very personal way of mixing all these influences as well as my way of using materials and workmanship create a unique and distinctive style. Always a little morbide, dark romantic, very feminine, not compulsively trying to fit into the current zeitgeist.
My clothing ist not to be understood as a decorative or simply dressing accessory but as wearable art - object and painting at the same time.
I do not design collections in a classical meaning (well, not for now). My current workings are customized individual items. But there is always a certain idea, a certain subject, that I am engaded in during a longer span of time, which creates a series of connected pieces.

Historische Formensprache trifft auf Moderne, Tracht trifft Kimono. Aus meiner persönlichen Art und Weise, all diese Einflüsse zu einem ganzen zu mischen und in weiterer Folge dann natürlich auch der Umgang mit den verwendeten Materialien und die Verarbeitung ergeben einen unverkennbaren und typischen Stil. Ein wenig morbide, dunkelromantisch, sehr feminin, nicht krampfhaft versucht, dem aktuellen Zeitgeist zu entsprechen.
Meine Kleidung verstehe ich nicht als schückendes und hüllendes Beiwerk sondern als tragbare Kunst - Objekt und Gemälde zugleich.
Ich entwerfe keine Kollektionen im klassischen Sinne. Meine Arbeiten sind stets und bleiben maßgefertigte Einzelstücke. Jedoch gibt es immer ein bestimmtes Thema, mit dem ich mich intensiv über einen längeren Zeitraum befasse. Auf diese Weise entsteht so eine komplette Serie von zusammengehörigen Werken. Ein bestimmtes Thema betrachte ich allerdings nie als abgeschlossen.

Die klassischen Hochglanzmodefotos interessieren mich nicht. Ich bin daher stets auf der Suche nach kreativen Photographen, die gemeinsam mit mir neue Ideen entwickeln und umsetzten möchten.

Um Makeup und Haare kümmere ich mich selber, auch kann ich, wenn benötigt, Accessoires und Dekorationsmaterial mitbringen. Professionelles Modell bin ich zwar keines, hab aber großen Spaß daran, vor der Kamera zu stehen.
