The dark matter exuded from his face, blurring his outlines into ascending swirls of grey mist. She could not see where he began and where he ended. He was everywhere, he was everything. He took over her. He saw with her eyes, he heard with her ears, he breathed with her lung, he felt her agony, her anger, her despair. He was there at each point of her life. He had been there, always. One last moment, all her memories lit up, shining bright and powerful, before everything imploded, and all was his. Now, he was her.
