My name is André-Pascal Werthwein. I was born in 1993 in Stuttgart [Germany] and I am a Designer. Due to my studies I had the chance to get a more or less traditional education in several creative fields. One of them is Photography, a field I have explored thoroughly — and am still exploring. Yes — even though my photos are professionally made — I still say exploring. That's because I understand my photography as a creative journey that is constantly changing through new possibilities, new experiences and new ways of seeing and thinking. Within this field I am always looking for new projects and new ways to create.

I am especially passionate about Nude Art Photography because people are fascinating — D'uh — and this field of photography offers a lot of challenges. This field of photography offers so many ways to explore aesthetics as well as to tell stories.

From time to time I also dabble in other fields of photography.

Although I primarily work digitally, I also enjoy working with film. Both ways of taking photos have their own very specific qualities. Sometimes I enjoy the limitations of analog photography. Other times I prefer the variety of possibilities that digital processes offer. I really use whatever I feel is appropriate for a given project.
