▸ THE TERMS

more than 14 days before the shoot — free cancellation, no fee
14 to 5 days before — 50% of the agreed fee
less than 5 days before, including the day itself — 100% of the agreed fee

A no-show counts as a same-day cancellation.
Rescheduling to another slot within the same trip, if I still have one open, is always free.

▸ THE REASON DOESN'T CHANGE THE TERMS

By the time we're inside the window, the money is already spent on my side, and it doesn't come back depending on why the shoot fell through. A schedule conflict, an emergency, illness — the tickets and the apartment are still non-refundable.

I'm also not in a position to verify anyone's reasons, and I don't want to be. So I don't. The terms are the same for everyone, with no exceptions. That's the only version of this that stays fair.

▸ WHY IT EXISTS

I don't travel to a city for a single shoot. I plan the whole trip around who has confirmed for those specific dates. Tickets are bought in advance, apartments are booked and paid in advance, and both are usually non-refundable — those costs stay the same whether the shoot happens or not.

A cancellation also breaks the route. The slot I held for you is a slot I turned other people down for, and once we're inside two weeks it's too late to fill it.

It's not a penalty and it isn't about distrust. It's the only way I can plan trips in advance without carrying the entire risk myself.

▸ ON MY SIDE

I cancel very rarely, and only if something genuinely leaves me no choice. If it ever happens and you have a studio booked that you can't cancel or refund, tell me and we'll sort it out between us.

Confirming a booking with me means you've read and accepted these terms. If anything here doesn't work for you, tell me before we confirm — I'd much rather sort it out in conversation than after.
