I started in the 1970s with nudes in landscapes, the models were friends from naturist beaches. I developed black and white negatives by myself and enlarged them in the darkroom. The results were shown in art galleries and exhibitions.

Nude photography was art, pure and unedited and physical flaws were not an issue. With the advent of digital photography and editing tools, it became difficult to continue that honesty in photos, today you can change the look and feel flawless even with the simplest mobile phone tools. In addition, the censorship of media such as Facebook and Instagram leads to the perception of nude photography as something forbidden or sexualized.

Nevertheless, I still try to concentrate on the exciting work behind the camera and to get consistent results, and to achieve a modern image statement with the edit tools, even if not every picture can be shown on social media.
